Dana, 31. 5. 2017. našu školu su u okviru posjete Bosni i Hercegovini posjetili prof. dr. Thomas Jackson, direktor UehiroAcademy for Philosophy and Ethics inEducation, College of Arts and Humanitiesand Specialist, Department of Philosophy,University of Hawaii at Manoa i Doc. dr. Stefanie Sweeney, Uehiro Academyfor Philosophy and Ethics in Education,Honolulu. U vremenu od 10:00 do 11:30 održano je zanimljivo interaktivno predavanje za učenike/ce Treće gimnazije pod naslovom „Filozofija, praiskonsko čuđenje i budućnost obrazovanja“. Osnovna tema je bila predstavljanje programa P4C (Filozofija za djecu). Program P4C se razvija od 1960. godine i prisutan je u šezdeset zemalja svijeta kao što su Japan, Kina, Švajcarska, Austrija, Velika Britanija i dr. Naša škola je jedina škola u BiH koja je obuhvaćena ovom vrijednom posjetom i predavanjem zajedno sa filozofskim fakultetima u Banja Luci, Mostaru i Sarajevu. Učenici su sa pažnjom pratili predavanja i postavili veoma zanimljiva pitanja. Predavanje je moderirala profesorica Filozofije s logikom Sedžida Hadžić. Zahvaljujemo se svim učenicima, maturantima, kolegama i našoj direktorici koji su podržali ovaj događaj i prisustvovali predavanju u amfiteatru škole.

Dr. Thomas Jackson, director of the Uehiro Academy for Philosophy and Ethics in Education, College of Arts and Humanitiesand Specialist, Department of Philosophy, University of Hawaii at Manoa and Stefanie Sweeney, PhD,Uehiro Academy for Philosophy and Ethics in Education, Honolulu visited our school on 31st May 2017, as a part of their trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina. They held a very interesting and interactive lecture for students of The Third Gymnasium called Philosophy, Primal Wonder and the Future of Education. The main topic was the P4C program presentation (“Philosophy for children”). The P4C program has been developing since 1960, and today it is present in sixty countries worldwide such as Japan, China, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain, etc. Our school is the only school in Bosnia and Herzegovina that was included in this important visit and lecture together with The Faculties of Philosophy from Banja Luka, Mostar and Sarajevo. The students carefully listened to the lecture and they asked very interesting questions. The lecture was facilitated by Sedžida Hadžić, professor of Philosophy and Logic. We would like to thank all the students, graduates, colleagues and our director who supported this event and attended the lecture in the school lecture hall.
